Perfectly Broken

I'm broken, I'm ashamed, and I'm amazed at how quickly time passes when I started wandering from the will of God.  Reading every day, not just to be reading but to be close to Him.  To think of His ways.  To think of how He wants me to live.  To be pure in His sight.  To surrender my thoughts.  To surrender my will.  To take my mind from this life and think about the one that awaits me after this one.  I will answer for it all.  And what will I even be able to say?  Yes thank God for His grace and mercy, but He is also a Holy God and a God of wrath and judgment and when in the balance with Christ I'm found lacking.  Broken and contrite...
